Funny guys Mike Myers and Steve Carell arent the only stars duking it out this weekend when their comedies The Love Guru and Get Smart open. So are their popular, glam leading ladies Jessica Alba and Anne Hathaway.

Alba, who has kicked major butt in such TV shows and movies as Dark Angel and the Fantastic Four franchise in which she plays Sue Storm, goes comedic as the owner of the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey club who inexplicably falls under the spell of Guru Pitka (Myers), a Pillsbury doughboy- shaped guru who has worn a chastity belt since he was a preteen.

There are good movies. There are bad movies. There are movies so bad they're good (though, strangely, not the reverse). And once in a while there is a movie so bad that it takes you to a place beyond good and evil and abandons you there, shivering and alone. Watching The Love Guru (Paramount Pictures) is a spiritual experience of a sort, but not the sort that its creator and star, Mike Myers, intended. This tale of a guru who brings joy to all who meet him is the most joy-draining 88 minutes I've ever spent outside a hospital waiting room. In the course of those long minutes, Myers leads you on a journey deep inside himself, to the source from whence his comedy springs and it's about as much fun as a tour of someone's large intestine.

Myers has long specialized in characters who are victims of arrested development: from Austin Powers emerging from his 30-year deep-freeze, to the fully grown Wayne Campbell broadcasting his cable-access show from his parents' basement, to Simon, the child who does "drawerings" in his bathtub while admonishing the audience, "Don't look at my bum!" As the host of the MTV Movie Awards earlier this month, Myers did a whole sketch that revolved around the ability of his character, an animal wrangler, to distinguish different species by eating their poop. But in The Love Guru, Myers isn't just mining the comic potential of regression: He's regressing on-screen before our very eyes.

Jessica Alba got married to Cash Warren in a secret wedding!

The Fantastic Four actress, Jessica Alba, got married in a secret ceremony to fiancé Cash Warren.

Alba and her fiancé, Cash Warren, applied for a marriage license at Beverly Hills Courthouse at 11:30 a.m. after a 40-minute wait for the paperwork to be completed.

Alba wore a long blue casual dress and donned her hair in a ponytail, while Warren wore brown pants and a white shirt.

According to Thomas Crosbie Media, the couple were pronounced husband and wife under an arch of white flowers and green silk, while no friends or family were present.

The wedding was kept so under wraps that even Jessica’s brother was unaware of it, telling Us Weekly magazine, “My sister is married? I’m going to have to call her!”

The well–renowned actress’s father was also unaware of the quick ceremony, although he insists that he is happy for his newlywed daughter.

“I think it's good news for her. I'm glad for her. She's a beautiful girl. I'm her dad and I'm happy for her no matter what happens,” Mark Alba told Latina magazine.

Pregnant Alba, 27, opens up about her sexy public image and how she finally learned to feel comfortable with her body, PEOPLE reports.

Public Image: "Hollywood always play[s] up your sexuality, because that's what gets men into the theaters. And I never really gave a s about all that stuff! It's nothing to be ashamed of. But it is definitely not what I am about by any means!"

Sexuality: "I don't think I was comfortable with my sexuality until I was an adult, probably, like, 22  that's when I stopped apologizing and stopped feeling ashamed. I did the Vagina Monologues in L.A. That made me proud."

On Sex Before Marriage: "I never believed women had to be virgins when they got married, or that a woman has to fall in love with a guy just because they're having sex. I don't think sex is a big deal. I hated the hypocrisy of it. Men can do whatever, and it's acceptable."

Comfort first! Sporting a baby blue screen-print tee covered by a light zip up and some comfy tennis shoes, a heavily pregnant Jessica Alba was spotted out shopping at Bed, Bath and Beyond on Wednesday (May 14).

Accompanying the mommy to be was her mother, Catherine Alba . The two women browsed around the store shopping for some household needs before the baby arrives.

Speaking of baby, the Awake actress recently told press that her pregnancy was no accident.

Alba explained, “I can’t say it was a total accident. Because you’re aware of when you’re being careful and when you’re not. It just happened so soon.”

The 27-year-old continued, “I never believed women had to be virgins when they got married, or that a woman has to fall in love with a guy just because they’re having sex. I don’t think sex is a big deal.”

Jessica Alba admits that sex is something she has never taken very seriously.

The Fantastic Four star told Allure magazine in an interview for their June issue that she has never believed that women need to be in love before they experiment with sex, reports the New York Daily News.

“I never believed women had to be virgins when they got married, or that a woman has to fall in love with a guy just because they’re having sex. I don’t think sex is a big deal,” she told the mag.

In The Love Guru, which hits theaters June 20, Mike Myers plays Pitka, a relationship guru who returns to the States in pursuit of a career. The owner of the Toronto Maple Leafs, played by Jessica Alba, asks for Pitka’s help to mend the heart of Darren Roanoke, a star hockey player whose wife has left him for a rival athlete. Repairing Roanoke’s spirit may be the only way the Leafs can win the Stanley Cup. Alba and Myers chatted with Jayplay during a roundtable interview with other student news publications.

You’ve been in a lot of action-based movies, but lately you’ve been doing comedies. Is that the direction you see your career going?
Yes. I started acting because I wanted to make people laugh. I used to make up characters and do voices and basically anything to make my family and friends laugh.

Were you a hockey fan before making this film?

I didn’t know much. I had to take a crash course in hockey. I’m a sports fan, and I can wrap my head around it once I’ve watched a few games. I didn’t know how smelly those guys are they’re so stinky.

Working with Mike Myers, how did you keep your composure while filming?

I didn’t. None of us on set really did. I would lose it and laugh my ass off.

Who would be a better love guru in real life: You or Mike Myers?

Mike does a pretty good job at it. He’s hilarious, sweet and kind. Not that I’m not, but it’s hard to put yourself in that position.

Celebrities are bound to be embroiled in controversies. The famous American actress Jessica Marie Alba, who is well known for her roles in Dark Angel, Sin City, Fantastic Four and Into the Blue, is no exception.

The recent issue faced by her was when the March 2006 issue of Playboy magazine published Jessica, who is regularly listed by several entertainment magazines as one of the most beautiful or sexiest women alive, in a bikini on the cover.

Boiling the issue, Jessica Alba threatened to sue the magazine, claiming that Hugh Hefner & Co, the publisher of Playboy magazine, is trying to make it seem that she appears in a nude or semi-nude pictorial.

Alba’s lawyer has demanded that Playboy magazine stops distributing their magazine and provide the actress with a monetary settlement for its unauthorized use of her image for commercial purposes. Alba’s main contention was that the magazine has duped readers into thinking she was nude inside.

Though Playboy magazine had named Alba among its 25 Sexiest Celebrities and also the Sex Star of the Year in the March issue, the litigation did not stop.

In fact, Playboy had initially offered to pay Jessica Alba to appear on the cover, but the offer was refused by the 25-year-old actress. Following this, Playboy magazine had made efforts to get approval from the Columbia Pictures to publish a promotional photograph of bikini-clad Jessica Alba, and the venerable men’s magazine published the sultry image from the 2005 film “Into the Blue”. Joining the celebrity, the Columbia Pictures also has demanded apology from the magazine for its outrageous and unethical behavior.
